Are you or do you know a Halton student in grade 7 to 12 passionate about protecting the environment and looking to earn 20 community involvement hours? If so, then you might be interested in an upcoming Generation Green opportunity.
What is Generation Green?
Generation Green is a youth-led initiative to engage Halton students in climate action leadership and support them in their commitment to greenhouse gas emission reductions to drive change and action in their communities. Students are provided with the tools, resources, and inspiration to reduce Halton’s carbon footprint.
The Generation Green program consists of three phases: a conference (February), a student project on climate action (March-May), and a project showcase where students come together to share and celebrate their projects with peers (June).
