Thank you to those community members who were able to join us on Oct. 27, 2021 for the public launch of Climate Resilient Burlington: A Plan for Adapting to Our Warmer, Wetter and Wilder Weather.
The event began with an introduction to the Climate Resilient Burlington (CRB) project followed by keynote speaker David Phillips, Senior Climatologist at Environment and Climate Change Canada, who spoke about “Weather and Climate: It’s Not What Our Grandparents Knew.” This was followed by a question and answer period with David Phillips.
If you were unable to join us live, you can now view and share the recording which is also available on our CRB project page at getinvolvedburlington.ca/crb.
Community Survey
A friendly reminder that a community survey is currently posted on the CRB project page. We are asking for your feedback on our proposed vision and principles as well as on climate impacts and actions for resiliency. This survey will be available until Nov. 14, 2021.
