Understanding EV Charging in Your Multi-Residential Building Webinar

Have you thought about purchasing an electric vehicle (EV) but live in an older apartment or condominium with no ability to plug in and charge your vehicle? If so, then you might want to tune into an upcoming webinar on EV Charging in multi-unit residential buildings hosted by Plug’n Drive to find out what you need to know to prepare your property for EV charging today and in the future.

Who is Plug‘n Drive?

Plug’n Drive is a non-profit organization committed to accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles to maximize their environmental and economic benefits. Since 2011, Plug’n Drive has established itself as a trusted and unbiased source of information about electric cars, charging stations and the electricity sector in Canada.

Did you know?

The transportation sector represents a significant share of carbon emissions in our community and electric mobility is a key component identified in Burlington’s Climate Action Plan to help us meet our target to become a net zero carbon community by 2050.

There are a number of EV charging stations located in Burlington’s downtown parking lots for the public. Parking fees may apply but charging time at the station is free.

City staff have applied for funding through Natural Resources Canada’s Zero Emissions Vehicle program to expand the number of charging stations at our public facilities.

The City will be partnering with BurlingtonGreen to develop a community based Electric Mobility Strategy to engage the community and identify further opportunities to support electric mobility in Burlington.
