
Are you interested in taking positive action for the environment but don’t know where to start? Check out an upcoming event hosted by BurlingtonGreen, featuring the City of Burlington, Burlington Transit and the Burlington Repair Café where you can:
- Properly dispose of your household electronic waste such as gaming consoles, TVs (not heavyweight), computers, monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, cell phones, printers, electronic toothbrushes or razors, etc.
- Recycle those items that aren’t accepted in your household recycling program such as candy wrappers, water filters, reusable plastic containers and lids, plastic cards, etc.
- Repair small household items (see below for more information)
- Test drive an electric vehicle and have all your EV related questions answered
- E-scooter and e-bike demonstrations
- Tour a Burlington Transit bus
- Speak to City staff about taking action on climate and members of the Integrated Transportation Advisory Committee
- Participate in kid friendly activities such as button making, a bean bag game, etc.

- Burlington Centre parking lot, 777 Guelph Line (at Fairview). Rain or shine.
Burlington Repair Café
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Burlington Centre, 777 Guelph Line. The community hub room is located near the Guelph Line facing entrance to the left of Starbucks.
- Due to the popularity of this service, advance registration is required at burlingtonrepaircafe@cogeco.ca.
